Charles Murphy, MD

Dr. Charles G. Murphy is co-director of the HHT Center of Excellence at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. A board-certified pulmonologist and intensivist, he received his training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Prior to that he trained at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has been his center’s co-director for the past two years.  In addition to helping lead his center, he is also director of the pulmonary function laboratory at Columbia and devotes significant time to teaching trainees and conducting clinical research.
